Rebellion is essential… to accept everything as it is handed to you is to be not only passive in life, but unworthy of the gift life is. However, coming from an “old school” rebel, one often must learn the ways of the old system so as to invade that system and change it… we all know that true change happens from within, so to stand outside of a system and rebel against it makes little sense-
The other stumbling block is that, as rebels, we want big and quick change… usually “real” change has neither of these qualities- and we are easily discouraged and frustrated…
